Question 1

Do you service occupational health clinics and corporate employee health programs in Miramar?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Occupational health and employee wellness clinics are a strong part of our Miramar book of business. These facilities generate sharps (blood draw needles, vaccination syringes), regulated biomedical waste (blood-soaked materials), and sometimes pharmaceutical waste (vaccine vials, medication samples). We build programs that cover all three under one service agreement.

Question 2

Is Miramar in Broward County subject to the same biomedical waste rules as Fort Lauderdale?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Miramar, like all Broward County municipalities, operates under the same FDOH Chapter 64E-16 biomedical waste regulations as Fort Lauderdale. There are no Miramar-specific ordinances that change the generator requirements. The rules — storage limits, container types, manifest documentation, licensed transporter — are the same statewide.

Question 3

Can you service a dialysis center in Miramar?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Dialysis centers generate significant biomedical waste volumes including bloodlines, tubing, needles, and saturated materials from each dialysis session. We set up high-frequency pickup schedules for dialysis centers given their daily waste generation. Most dialysis accounts run on weekly or twice-weekly schedules.

Question 4

How do I get a quote for a new Miramar clinic?

Accepted Answer

Call (786) 622-2214 or submit a quote request online. Most new Miramar accounts receive a same-day quote based on your facility type and estimated monthly volume.
